Since 2004, Limitless Horizons Ixil has worked closely with the community of Chajul to enhance educational opportunities for youth. Our holistic model spans the educational arc of youth in the community, starting with early childhood literacy programming in our community library, providing critical scholarships and comprehensive support to middle and high school students, and continuing to support the personal and professional development of our graduates, as they ready themselves to take on careers and become community leaders. Learn more by watching our special video to hear the story of Ana, a Limitless Horizons Ixil graduate!
We rely on your generous support to continue serving the community of Chajul. Every contribution makes a real difference in helping us meet our mission. Please give today to help us continue our vital work in the community of Chajul.
Our Way of Saying Thanks
Donating $300+ (or a $25 monthly recurring gift) by 12/31/16 will enter you into a raffle to win a customized Chajul weaving of your choice or 10% off our upcoming trip in summer 2017! If you win and select a weaving, you’ll choose from a wall hanging, a traditional blouse (huipil) woven and worn by most Chajulense women, an intricate shawl (rebozo), or a traditional shoulder bag (morral). All items are hand woven and embroidered with distinct Chajulense imagery.
